Minion Missionaries

Our hard-working, rake-toting, weed-pulling yard minions decided we needed to make sacrifices in our yard so they could serve another mission. I’m sure they sacrificed some things too. 😉 This time they are headed to NEW YORK to serve in the Palmyra Temple for a year.  Whooohoooo! They started training on April 10th and headed east on the 16th. So it only seemed appropriate to send them off on their 2,000+ mile road trip with 10 pound minion cakes (seriously, those cakes were SO heavy!). Our little minions make us so proud! The sacrifices they are willing to make to serve the Lord is inspiring and touching. We know it’s hard to be away from family (especially that adorable, growing great-grandboy!). But one thing is for sure… none of us question their love for the Savior and the dedication they have for the eternal work that goes on in temples. Their example strengthens all our testimonies.
