Team Christine

Christine’s husband, Paul Tippetts, wanted to get a group together to do an ovarian cancer 5k walk/run in her honor. I was honored to help him make it happen. The fun part was designing and creating over 70 “Team Christine” hats for everyone to wear…. complete with her inspirational quote “Just one more step”.  Christine was not able to be up at the race at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City, so after the race, we all gathered out front and then walked around to her backyard to surprise her. And boy, was she surprised! It was such a sweet experience to be a part of. I know it completely wore her out… but she let us all line up so we could each enjoy a tearful hug with her.
