HAPPY LOVE DAY Y’ALL
*** Hello Family and Friends! ***
Well, the big news from 2016 is… our favorite child has just graduated from college! Erica now has a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Science. Our second favorite child (always the one on a mission) Parker, is doing GREAT! We very much enjoy reading his enthusiastic letters.
The rest of our kids, Tarrin, Kody and Jayden, are living the dream (NOT!) of going to school. In fact, Jayden’s only reason for going to school every morning is so that he can grace all the girls in his school with his “fabulous” hair! Poor kid… he used to get away with everything at home when all of his brothers were here. Now he feels picked on because he has the attention of his mom and dad ALL THE TIME! 😉 That’s just the way we like it!
Tarrin is still marching towards his Electrical Engineering degree and drives Erica CRAZY with all of his little electrical projects. He is designing a weather balloon that will ascend to 100,000 feet above sea level and he will build all the electrical tracking devices for it. Erica says he’s going to go up with it if he doesn’t “chill out”.
Kody is still the red-necked pharmacist at his local Lee’s grocery store. Well, he’s not actually the pharmacist yet. He’s the pharmacy tech working on getting is boss’s job. You can always recognize him by his pharmacy jacket and cowboy boots… and Duck Dynasty facial hair when he can get away with it!
Jayden has had a busy year and in spite of his fear of drowning in the ocean, he reluctantly agreed to go on a cruise with Mom, Dad, and Grandma & Grandpa Seamons. And in the end, he thought the ship was pretty dope (new word for “cool”), even though it meant hanging out with all the old people. He also got his braces off, appendix out and even started driving, further adding to his mom and dad’s gray hair! (Editor’s note: Just Dad’s gray hair. Mom doesn’t have any!)
And, finally, we have two more “concealed permit” holders in the family. Tina and Erica surprised Tarrin and I for Christmas by announcing that they had completed their concealed weapons class and gave us the paperwork to send in. Wow! I never saw that one coming!!!
