Food, Climbing and Bees
May 28th – 29th, 2017
Memorial Day weekend. We headed up to Logan after church and enjoyed a DELICIOUS dinner of Alfredo chicken with homemade noodles! YUM! YUM! YUM! Tarrin did good marrying a great cook! She’s SO good that she can even get Tarrin and Kody to help!
On Monday we headed up Green Canyon. Kody brought his 300 pound backpack with all his climbing gear. Which, in itself wouldn’t mean much, unless you know that we had a half mile trek up a rocky road to get to this climbing spot. We were all loaded with groceries and chairs. Good thing it was a beautiful spot or it wouldn’t have been worth it! The boys had lots of fun climbing and going through some trust exercises. And of course, the boys turned it into a competition! The best part was watching Jayden spaz out when he got a bee down his shirt (and stung him a couple times)…. fastest decline time ever! Yes, we felt bad for him…. and yes, there was also some laughing. 😉 There are a couple videos added with a nice background sound of a cricket. That little thing gets points for endurance! He chirped the same note the entire time we were there.
Not quite what we meant when we asked for some firewood…. just sayin’.
I don’t know about you…. but the fact that Tarrin needed to do this would make me a little nervous to be the one up above on the rope.
